Grote brand verwoest garagebedrijf


De brandweer is vrijdag aan het begin van de avond met groot materieel uitgerukt voor de bestrijding van een uitslaande brand bij de Texelse Autucentrale in Den Burg.

Het vuur werd onder meer met een hoogwerker geblust. De schade is enorm, het bedrijf moet als verloren worden beschouwd. Er waren meerdere ambulances staande bij en ondersteuning door de politie. De  brandweer krijgt assistentie uit Den Helder. De omgeving is afgezet, de brand bracht veel publiek op de been. Over de oorzaak is nog geen duidelijkheid.
